Hokusai. In the footsteps of the Master on display in Rome at the Ara Pacis Museum from October 12, 2017 to January 14, 2018.

CONFIRMED EXHIBITION

Throughout 200 works the exhibition Tells and compares the production of the Master with that of some of the artists who have followed his footsteps, giving rise to new lines, shapes and color balance within the classical strings of the nuke.

Through about 200 works (100 for each rotation of the exhibition for conservative reasons linked to the fragility of polychrome silographs) coming from the Chiba City Museum of Art Important Japanese collections such as Sumisho Art Gallery, Uragami Mitsuru Collection and Kawasaki Isago no Sato Museum , as well as < The Museum of Oriental Art Edoardo Chiossone of Genoa , the show tells and compares the production of the Master with that of some of the artists who have followed his footsteps creating new lines , Shapes and color balance within the classical strings of the tukio.

Hokusai has explored subjects of every kind: from landscape to nature, animals and flowers, from the portrait of kabuki actors to the feminine and warrior actors, to ghost images and Spirits and beings and animals of the same age Less Infos>> .
