The public will have access to the archaeological after crossing the tunnel underground dei Fori Imperiali, opened for the first time after the excavations of the last century .

After the huge success of last year by the “Forum of Augustus’ returns and expands the enhancement project of the Imperial Forums with an exciting new stage in the“ Forum of Caesar “by Piero Angela and Paco Lanciano .

€ś The public will have access to the archaeological after crossing the tunnel underground dei Fori Imperiali, opened for the first time after the excavations of the last century.
The projects “Forum of Augustus“ and “Caesar’s Forum“, promoted by the Culture and Tourism - Capitolina Superintendent of Cultural Heritage of Rome, are produced by Zètema Culture Project, the design and care are of Piero Angela and Paco Lanciano with the historic collaboration of Gaetano Capasso and the Scientific Director of the Superintendent Capitolina.
The idea behind the new project is to repeat the experience of exploitation of the “Forum of Augustus“ and, through the use of cutting-edge teconologie, also tell the “Forum of Caesar“ starting from stones, fragments and columns . Viewers will be accompanied by the voice of Piero Angela and impressive movies and reconstructions that show places as they looked like in ancient Rome: a representation and thrilling at the same time full of great information from historical and scientific rigor.

To watch the show traveling within the Forum of Caesar, the access will be through the staircase located near the Trajan’s Column. The public will then go through the Forum of Trajan on a catwalk specially made by the Management of Superintendent Capitolina and from the design Zètema and will travel the underground tunnel dei Fori Imperiali, opened for the first time since the end of the excavations of the last century. You will touch the Forum of Caesar and released from a scale existing on Via dei Fori Imperial height of the Roman Curia.
